Since 2000, we at Albaseerah began by initially inviting the Salafi Du'aat to Bradford and holding study circles at a local primary school for a few years. A few years later walhamdulillah we were able set up the Salafi Bookstore.
Progressing on from this, a few years later Allaah Azzawajjal blessed us with our own Dawah Centre; the Albaseerah Centre which is situated next door to the existing Salafi Bookstore. Alhamdulillaah, the centre has also allowed Ahlus Sunnah in Bradford to gather in a warm comforting environment to seek knowledge, increase the ties of brotherhood. The Albaseerah centre is open to all who wish learn, cultivate themselves, and gather with the people of Sunnah in Bradford. At the centre we host a range of events, activities and lectures for the community.
We have lessons from our brother Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq. In addition to this we have regular Tajweed and Arabic lessons specific to both sisters and brothers. We have also held conferences at the centre. On multiple occasions Shaikh Falaah ibn Ismaeel al Mundikaar has given lessons and advice at the centre. We have held telelinks with the noble Sheikh Ubayd al-Jaabiree has and insha'Allaah hope to hold many similar links/events at the centre.
